Designing a basic wine cellar can be a very simple process. You know the length of the walls and their height so it can be a simple matter to work out the number of Cavovin units you need.

Assuming a small room, 3m x 3m and 3m high, the Cavovin System12 can store 2016 bottles.

This design makes better use of space and uses two different systems - the deeper System50 and on top, the narrower System35.  We have also used a 'library' layout in the centre which allows access from both sides.

Storage space is now over 3570 bottles! - and we can do even better. There is also room for whole cases of wine. And the cost can be - less than £2 per bottle for a complete cellar.

Tip: Put a small table and four chairs in your cellar and turn it from a storage space into a room in which to entertain and enjoy.  Lit by candles or subdued lighting, you could be in your own French cave.
