Beaujolais has ten Grand Crus of which the best known is Fleurie. Each claims that the variation of soil and location gives it a slightly different character. Regnie was the last to be given the accolade of Grand Cru and sitting between Brouilly and Morgon, it is source of well structured wines, empowered by the beautiful Gamay grape, and is equal to the very best that Beaujolais produces.
